Visit the best tourist attractions with us

Senegal has a variety of first-rate natural assets that make it an attractive destination: six national parks and four reserves, a variety of birds, some wildlife and access to big game fishing. But it is the people, their music, culture and handicrafts that make Senegal what it is: a great, diverse and very colourful country.

 - African villages tours

Visit the numerous little villages situated in the middle of breathtaking landscapes and meet the friendly people of the Teranga (the Senegalese traditional hospitality).

 - Lac Rose excursion

North of Dakar is the Retba Lake, also called the Pink Lake due to its colouring. Its high mineral and salt content, like the Dead Sea one, allows people to float easily. It is a very pleasant excursion to discover the beautiful landscapes of the small salt collecting industry. The Retba Lake was also known as the terminal of the Paris-Dakar motor rally.

 - Trips to Dakar

A visit to Dakar, a bustling modern city and major port situated on the Cap Verde peninsula is worthwhile. The tour includes the Presidential Palace, a white building surrounded by gardens and the bustling markets (Kermel, Sandaga...) selling mainly fruits, fabrics, clothings and souvenirs.

- Gorée Island

Head for the Unesco World heritage-listed Gorée Island just 20-minute boat ride from the city. It used to be a slaving station and a visit to the Maison des Esclaves (Slaves' House) is a must to see. The island has also many others colonial-style houses, several museums, a small beach and restaurants.

- Bandia Nature Reserve Park

An incredible oportunity to meet a great variety of wildlife in a fauna reserve of 2,224 acres: Derry Eland and Buffon Cob antelope, giraffe, rhino as well as many species of monkey.

 - Excursion by the Sine-Saloum Delta

The area is characterised by small islands, sand dunes, swamps providing a perfect habitat for hundreds of bird species including pelicans, storks and pink flamingoes. The ideal programme to discover the Sine-Saloum is to go on a trip in a pirogue, traditional African boat out to the islands...
